Yacht Management

One contact. Full accountability. No hand-offs.

01

Three pillars. One mandate.

Yacht management at ADY covers the full lifecycle of operating a vessel: day-to-day operations, technical upkeep, and financial oversight — managed under one roof, by one team, through one point of contact. The three pillars are not sold separately, because they should not be managed separately.

I

Operational Management

We don’t manage from a distance.

  • Flag state compliance & registry management (Greek and European register)
  • Port authority relationships & permit coordination
  • Crew employment contracts under Greek maritime law, SEA compliant
  • Insurance placement & claims handling on behalf of the owner
  • Seasonal scheduling — preparation, lay-up, and readiness coordination
  • 24/7 emergency contact for operational issues afloat or ashore
Operational status, tasks, and flag state deadlines tracked in real time — always a current picture without requesting a report.
II

Technical Management

We know the yards because we’ve been at the yards.

  • Planned maintenance schedule supervision & coordination
  • Refit & repair management — yard selection, tendering, on-site supervision
  • Yard relationships across the Aegean (Elefsis, Syros, Perama) & Mediterranean
  • Class & certification renewal planning and coordination
  • Supplier & contractor management: quality, timeline, and cost oversight
  • Build supervision — from contract signing through delivery and commissioning
Maintenance schedules, open tasks, and technical milestones updated in real time — captain and owner always know where the vessel stands.
III

Financial Management

Clarity, not surprises.

  • Monthly owner reporting: expenditure, income, forecasts, and variances
  • Crew payroll & social insurance administration (MLC compliant)
  • EU VAT planning & ownership structure advisory
  • Hellenic Shipping Enterprises regime guidance for eligible owners
  • Insurance cost management & renewal oversight
  • APA advance management & post-charter settlement
Real-time financial reporting — expenditure, income, payroll, and projections — available on demand. No calls needed.

02

Charter Management

As Central Agent for a managed yacht, ADY takes full responsibility for the commercial operation of the vessel — from marketing and broker relations to charter execution and financial settlement.

As a MYBA member, every charter is conducted under MYBA standard contract terms. Our mandate gives owners access to the entire MYBA broker network, including the annual Charter Show attended by more than 570 professionals.

When a co-broker needs an alternative vessel for a confirmed client by end of day, the yacht is on proposal within the hour — preference sheet current, crew brief ready, APA estimate prepared.

Central Agency

  • Full commercial representation to the global broker network
  • MYBA charter contract management — agreements, preference sheets, guest documentation
  • Charter calendar optimisation & seasonal yield strategy
  • Marketing via Yachtfolio, YachtCharterFleet, CharterWorld, & direct broker outreach
  • Monthly charter yield reporting to the owner
For the Captain

  • Preference sheet management & guest briefing documentation
  • Cruising permit coordination & port clearance support per charter
  • APA guidance — always a clear picture of where the advance stands
  • Broker communication managed by ADY — captain never in the middle
  • On-call support for charter issues & guest escalations
For the Crew

  • Crew documentation managed for each charter (crew lists, port clearances)
  • APA disbursement tracking — crew never chasing costs or waiting on approvals
  • Post-charter settlement handled promptly and transparently
  • A direct ADY contact for crew queries — not routed through captain or owner
A note for captains

ADY functions as the captain’s operational counterpart throughout the season.

The captain focuses on the vessel and the guests. ADY handles the rest.

No two captains work the same way. Some want ADY to manage the commercial layer entirely; others prefer to stay closely involved. We build the arrangement around how you prefer to operate — and we stay accountable to it.

  • Single point of contact at ADY — one person who knows the boat
  • Direct line for charter issues, technical decisions, regulatory queries
  • Crew HR & administration handled — captain never in the middle
  • Broker communication managed — captain not fielding enquiries directly
  • Real-time platform access: charter calendar, APA balance, maintenance status
  • Emergency crew replacement coordinated within 24 hours when required
